Football Foodies Unite

As Super Bowl Sunday (Feb 7th) approaches, the big questions looms. Where will you watch it? The corner pub with the greasy wings? The sports bar packed with frustrated Giant and Jet fans? Fear no more, this year The Red Cat and The Harrison will charter new territory as we embrace all things pigskin and launch what will hopefully become a yearly event. Both restaurants will show  the entire game on big-screen hi-def TVs. Naturally, we've got the food part covered and then some. Our executive chefs, Amanda Freitag and Bill McDaniel, have come up with some delicious munchies to enjoy while you cheer on your team. Amanda's menu at The Harrison is beer- inspired; she'll be serving Beer Battered Onion Rings, Stout Braised Short Ribs, Meatball Heros and Pork Belly Sliders. At The Red Cat, you can indulge in Bill's Roast Suckling Pig Nachos with Fresh Jalepenos and Vermont Cheddar. We will also be featuring pitchers of Trace's kick-ass sangria and $2 Budweisers, the ultimate tailgate party beer. The Red Cat will open a half hour early that evening, at 4:30. So please join us for Super Bowl Sunday, but leave the sweatpants home.
