Do you love golf? Do you love to eat? Do you love a good cause? Well, this is the event for you. The Red Cat executive Chef Bill McDaniel will join over twenty other celebrity chefs, athletes, and entertainers at the sixth annual Celebrity Chefs and Friends Golf Tournament. The event takes place on Monday, June 7th at The Alpine Country Club in Demarest, New Jersey, just twenty five minutes from New York City. Bill and the other chefs will each host a foursome and then change into thier chef coats for the dine-around where they will prepare a signature dish. The dine-around will be followed by a live auction. The proceeds from this event go to the Rusty Staub Foundation Emergency Food Pantries. There are eight food pantries cross the five boroughs of New York City, serving hundreed of thousands of meals to those in need, many of whom are children. Last year, the event raised an amazing $270,000.

Each year this event honors a restaurateur who has uniquely contributed in the fight against hunger. This year, the honoree is Mario Batali who has done much over the years to help feed the hungry.
